All in is one of the betting strategies which is used in no limit Texas hold’em poker. Whenever a player declares that he/she is going all in, all the chips would have to be put in the pot for that hand. All in can be a very dangerous move for any PokerStar com player. If you have fewer chips compared to the opponent and you lose the all in bet, then you would be out of the game. This is one of the reasons why this is such a powerful strategy which should be very carefully used. Given below are a few helpful tips that will help you decide when to go all in and when to avoid it:

* Do not wait ever time till you have the nuts. Players who do this would be very predictable and the opponents would just fold.
* It is easier to go for an all in bet than calling one. The best thing to do is to bet when you know that your opponents would fold.
* If you are a good chip leader, you can actually bully the opponents and make them fold. You may lose some of the chips if you lose the bet but they would lose everything and would be forced out.
* Do not go all in on a cold bluff. Make sure that even though you may not have the strongest hand, you at least have a chance of making it with the cards that still haven’t been dealt.
* Do not go all in when you are short on chips. You would be likely to get called by an opponent with a big stack since if you lose, you would be out of that tournament. If you do go all in, you should have a hand that is almost unbeatable.
* If you have a low stack, use the all in strategy for your advantage. Use it when you have a real monster hand. In most cases you will get called by more than one opponent so you would be able to double, triple your money with one hand.
* Do not bluff if you are short stacked. You wouldn’t have enough chips and the opponents would not be afraid to call. Only go in if you have an excellent hand.
* Do not allow your chips to be drained away with blinds if you are short stacked. Go for an all in when you have the chance to steal the blinds. Even if you do get called, you would still be able to win the pot and get back in the game.
* When another short stacked player goes all in it would be a good idea for you to re-raise it. It will scare the other callers and you would have a better chance of winning.
